CVT - LuK produces the millionth CVT pulley set
Do you remember the legendary rocking Elvis figure? The small figure reacted to every gearshift with a vigorous swing of his hips. The breakthrough was made in 1999 when Audi fitted its A6 with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Since then, the continuously variable transmission, or CVT for short, has also ensured increased torque and driving comfort in luxury vehicles. The important thing for the Schaeffler Group is that transmission components from LuK stopped Elvis from rocking.
