IT Specialist in System Integration in Herzogenrath
As an electronics technician for devices and systems, you are responsible for manufacturing components and devices, especially measuring and testing devices, control units, sensors and actuators. As a trained electronics technician for devices and systems, you are able to work with documents in English and can also communicate in English. You work independently while complying with the applicable regulations and safety guidelines and coordinate your work with upstream and downstream areas. As a specialist in electronics, you comply with accident prevention guidelines.
You will receive training in several other areas along with your basic training modules:
- Providing support to and working with engineers
- Creating samples and unique parts, selecting mechanical, electric and electronic components before assembling them in systems
- Installing and configuring programs, testing devices and creating documentation for devices
- Creating layouts and manufacturing documents independently
- Assigning and coordinating orders for procuring components and operating materials for carrying out internal and external customer orders
- Planning and controlling manufacturing processes and organizing group work
- Setting up manufacturing and testing machines and programming, optimizing and performing maintenance on these machines.
- Collaboration with the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes
- Checking and performing maintenance on devices and components, systematic limitation of sources of errors using testing and measuring devices and diagnostic software.
The training lasts 3 ½ years.
The minimum educational requirement is a good grade in your secondary general school certificate.
By the end of your training, you will be well qualified to perform all tasks necessary for developing and programming software projects.
Three examples of these tasks are:
- You develop software solutions, i.e. you implement requirements that result from business management and technical conditions by developing hardware and software.
- You plan, analyze, test, modify and document IT applications.
- You advise and train users.
You will acquire a range of skills during the duration of your training, such as:
- Creating and maintaining software application solutions
- Using different software development tools
- Introducing new computer programs
- Expanding and adapting existing equipment and computer programs
- Testing and ensuring the functional capability of equipment and programs
The training lasts 3 years.
The minimum educational requirement is a secondary general school certificate.
