Chassis

Our development expertise ranges from designing bearings and calculating bearing data to extensive tests on our test stands. The chassis components are tested against the following criteria:

• Dynamic operating life of the bearing system when subjected to typical load and temperature conditions (including checking pretension and lubrication)
• Nub wear (fatigue strength under reverse bending stress)
• Seal system performance in extreme temperatures (-40°C to +150°C), when subjected to external dirt ingress, or when contaminated by transmission oil
• Frictional torque test under load
• ABS funktion
