Finger follower with hydraulic pivot element
Finger followers with hydraulic support elements are characterized by:
- Finger follower contact with cam preferably by means of cam roller with needle roller bearing supports
- Very low friction in valve train
- Cylinder head easy to install
- Oil can be easily fed to the cylinder head
- Little design space required
- Long operating life
- Maintenance-free
- Reduced CO2 emissions
- Increased fuel efficiency
Sheet steel finger follower with cam roller and support element:
- Formed from sheet steel
- Height of valve flanges can be adjusted as required
- With optional oil feed hole
- With optional retaining bracket – simplifies installation of cylinder head
- Very high surface load bearing area around the half-cup and valve contact face
- Very cost-effective in appropriate quantities

- Complicated lever geometries possible
- High load capacity
